Spanish and Polo
Argentine people have several well-known passions: eating asados (barcecues), drinking mate, tango dancing…. Playing polo is another one! The polo culture is very developed in Argentina as the Argentine pampas are a perfect place for raising horses. Amauta-Elebaires offers you the opportunity to learn Spanish and to experience the amazing polo scene in the Buenos Aires countryside.
The polo lessons will take place at a privileged location at about 45 minutes distance from Buenos Aires where many important polo events and championships take place. Study Spanish in Buenos Aires from Monday to Friday in one of our small groups at the required level, and enjoy the colonial ranch life during the weekend while immersed in the Argentine gaucho culture. You will attend a polo match and have polo lessons (practise and theory) given by Argentine professionals. An overnight (Saturday – Sunday) at the estancia is included.
The Spanish group classes take place from 09.00 to 13.00 with a 15-minute break at 11.00; the Polo Program takes place during the weekend.
The duration of a Spanish Group course is two weeks. The polo program takes on Saturday and Sunday, between 4 – 8 hours per day.
There is a maximum of eight students in the Spanish group class. For the polo program there is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 per group.
