Museums in Buenos Aires
The Argentine capital has an impressive cultural offer and it is home to dozens of galleries, museums and art exhibitions. Most museums are located on the Museum Mile, or Milla de los Museos. It is a mile-long route, running from up Avenida del Libertador from Recoleta to Palermo.argentina-museum
Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes
This museum holds the most important and largest collection of Argentine art plus some European works.
Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires
MALBA is located in a remarkable modern building. Its collection contains works by some Argentine greats, such as Jorge de la Vega and Antonia Berni.
Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires
MAMBA is located in a renovated tobacco factory. It has over 6,000 art works.
Museo de Nacional de Arte Decorativo
This museum contains over 4,000 pieces of art. It is located in a sumptuous building and also houses a bookshop and a little café.
The collection from Museo Evita consists out of artefacts from the life of the iconic Eva Perón, such as jewellery, dresses, photos and posters.
