María Laura Mecías – School Director & Cofounder
María Laura is the hardworking and passionate director and cofounder of the school. She holds a master in Spanish as a foreign language. María Laura personally designs and monitors every program. Furthermore, she is one of the international examiners of Spanish in Buenos Aires and she prepares students for international exams.
Pablo Capellini – Financial Director & Cofounder
Pablo is the financial director and cofounder of the school. He graduated in business administration and the school together with María Laura in 2005. Pablo is responsible for advertising, administration, creation of new programs and agreements with universities and agents.
Angela Gimenez – Course Coordinator
Angela is the course coordinator and Spanish teacher. She has a lot of experience in teaching Spanish as foreign language. Angela is responsible for the placement test, the daily organization of the Spanish courses and she tracks the progress of all students. She evaluates and supervises the individual needs of the students and teachers.
Davey Emmers – Intern
Davey is an intern at AMAUTA-Elebaires. He is studying International Marketing Management in the Netherlands and he is responsible for the online marketing, social media he does some blogging. He also organizes the afterschool activities and weekend trips.
Liliana Maxera – Spanish teacher
Liliana is specialised in Spanish language and literature. She has a lot of experience in teaching. Liliane often works with advanced students and prepares students for the DELE exam. She enjoys Zen meditation and yoga in her free time.
Pablo Landriel – Spanish teacher
Pablo is a translator of German and English. He has many years of experience as both a German and Spanish teacher. He enjoys creating an enjoyable atmosphere in the classroom and is keen to teach you about the Argentine culture or anything related to learning languages.
Martín Pavón – Spanish teacher
Martin is a Spanish teacher and is in charge of organising the afterschool activities on Monday and Wednesday when he takes the students to explore the city of Buenos Aires by visiting museums, neighborhoods or others.
Indie Van Herzeele – Reservations
Indie is from Belgium and she is responsible for internet sales and communication with (potential) students before arrival. The experience of working and living abroad is unique and valuable to her and she recommends everyone to learn Spanish in beautiful Buenos Aires.
Marielle Krul - Agencies and Reservations
Works from the Netherlands, and is responsible for PR related issues in the European market including daily agency contacts and reservations. Ever since she took a Spanish immersion course in Seville in Spain, some years ago, she strongly believed in immersion experiences as you do not only learn the language, but you get a full cultural immersion.
